Emil
J. DiIorio, MD Orthopedic Surgeon/President of Coordinated
Health
Dr. Emil DiIorio, a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon,
Fellow of American College of Sports Medicine, is a
graduate of New York University with a Masters Degree
from the University of Ghent, Belgium and a Medical
Doctorate from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Under
his leadership, Coordinated Health has become the pre-eminent
healthcare provider in the Lehigh Valley. After his
residency at Boston University's prestigious Lahey Clinic,
Dr. DiIorio founded Orthopedic & Sports Medicine
Lehigh Valley, the predecessor corporations of Coordinated
Health. Dr. DiIorio is the Orthopedic Team Physician
at Lehigh University. Dr. DiIorio also serves as Medical
Director for a number of Lehigh Valley employers. Dr.
DiIorio has written and spoken frequently in the areas
of Sports Medicine and Employer Healthcare and has been
recognized on numerous occasions for his outstanding
accomplishments in orthopedic surgery and occupational
health.
Carl B. Weiss, Jr., MD Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr.
Carl Weiss is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon,
Fellow of American College of Sports Medicine for Coordinated
Health. He graduated from the University of Rochester
and received his M.D. from Cornell University Medical
College. Dr. Weiss is Fellowship Trained in Sports Medicine
from the University of Wisconsin. He is recognized for
numerous publications and presentations on Sports Medicine.
Dr. Weiss has participated as Team Physician for the
United States Nordic Ski Team and also the USA Rugby
Team. Dr. Weiss is the Team Orthopedic Surgeon at Lafayette
College and Blair Academy, as well as several area high
schools. Dr. Weiss has participated in several national
medical tours.
Brett P. Godbout, MD Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr.
Brett Godbout is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon,
Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine for
Coordinated Health. Dr. Godbout graduated from medical
school at the State University of New York Upstate Medical
Center, Syracuse, NY. Dr. Godbout completed his fellowship
in sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute,
Birmingham, AL. Prior to that he completed his residency
in Orthopedics at Brown University, Providence, RI.
He has written numerous publications on Orthopedics,
and is a frequent speaker at local lectures. Dr. Godbout
is currently serving as Team Orthopedic Surgeon at Moravian
College and several area high schools.
Michael F. Busch, MD Orthopedic Surgeon
Michael
Busch, M.D. is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery,
Fellow of the American College of Orthopedic Surgeons
and a practicing physician with Coordinated Health.
Dr. Busch serves as Orthopedic Surgeon at our Allentown
Neighborhood Health Center. Dr. Busch graduated from
Temple University School of Medicine. He was Chief Resident
in Orthopedic Surgery at the Hospital for Joint Disease
and Orthopaedic Institute, New York, NY. Dr. Busch is
teaching faculty for Mount Sinai Hospital and School
of Medicine in NY, and Hahnemann University in Philadelphia,
PA. Dr. Busch is a three time winner of the American
Medical Association's "Physician's Recognition
Award". Dr. Busch serves as Team Orthopedic Surgeon
for several area high schools. Dr. Busch has recently
been appointed to Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Sacred
Heart Hospital.
Wayne T. Luchetti, MD Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr.
Luchetti is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and
fellowship trained in Sports Medicine. Dr. Luchetti
grew up in Kingston, PA and graduated from Kings College
and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
He completed his internship and residency at the University
of Pennsylvania. Wayne completed fellowship training
in sports and total joint reconstruction at the Southern
California Center for Sports Medicine, Long Beach, CA.
Dr. Luchetti is the team physician for all sports at
Lehigh University and Nazareth high school.
James K. Hoffman, MD, MS, FAAOS Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr.
Hoffman graduated from Dickinson College, Carlisle,
PA. He earned a Master's in Physiology from Temple University.
Dr. Hoffman completed his General Surgery internship
at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center, New York,
New York. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency
program and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Seton Hall
University Hospital, Patterson, New Jersey. He is Board
Certified in Orthopedic Surgery. His special interests
include: sports medicine, joint replacements, arthroscopic
surgery and general orthopedics. A native of Bethlehem,
Pennsylvania, he is married and has one child. In his
leisure time, he enjoys fishing and considers himself
a gentleman farmer.
Jon D. Hernandez, M.D., PH.D. Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Hernandez is a graduate of the University of California
Los Angeles (UCLA) receiving both his M.D. and Ph.D.
He completed his residency in Orthopedics at Duke University
Medical Center, and the Mary S. Stern Hand Surgery Fellowship
in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Hernandez has extensive research
experience and has participated in a number of publications
and presentations.
Gerald-John M. Rossini, M.D. Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr.
Rossini is a graduate of Temple University and the Temple
University School of Medicine. He completed his internship
and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University
of Medicine and dentistry of New Jersey. He went on
to complete a fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine
and Arthoscopic Surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in
Baltimore, MD. Dr. Rossini served on a number of committees
and was recognized throughout his training with a number
of honors and awards.
Christopher
Wagener , M.D. Spine Surgeon
After
graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of California,
Dr. Wagener received a Master of Science in Physiology
and Biophysics. Graduating with highest distinction,
he went on to earn his Doctorate, also with honors,
from Georgetown University, School of Medicine. Thereafter,
he completed his residency at Georgetown in Orthopedic
Surgery. He most recently completed his fellowship in
Spine Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Wagener’s medical training includes a wide
variety of research projects, academic presentations
and a background in teaching.
Dr.
Wagener’s professional interests include complex
surgical reconstruction of the cervical and lumbar spine
for degenerative, congenital, traumatic and tumor based
conditions. His training includes a full breadth both
orthopedic and neurosurgical spine techniques including
microsurgery, instrumented fusions, and the emerging
technology involving motion preservation ( X-Stop®,
Cervical Disc Replacement, Vertbroplasty/Kyphoplasty).
His personal expertise is the perfect compliment to
the sophisticated medical community in the Lehigh Valley.

Leo
J. Scarpino, M.D. - Orthopedic
Surgeon
Leo
J. Scarpino, M.D. received his Under Graduate degree
from St Bonaventure University 1970. He completed his
Medical Training at the State University Of New York
Upstate College in 1974. He is certified by the American
Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Scarpino lives in
Allentown with his wife and three children.
The Scarpino family enjoys skiing, boating and golf.
Many of Dr. Scarpino’s evenings and weekends are
spent coaching children locally in a variety of sports
such as soccer, softball and basketball – depending
on the season.
Randy
Jaeger, M.D. - Orthopedic
Surgeon
Randy
Jaeger, M.D. received his Under Graduate degree from
Yale University in 1984. His medical training began
at Bowman Gray School of Medicine and finished at Long
Island Jewish Medical Center in New York in 1994.
Dr. Jaeger completed a fellowship in Arthroscopy and
Sports Medicine at Orthopedic Research of Virginia in
Richmond in 1994. He is certified by the American Board
of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr.
Jaeger lives in Allentown with his wife and three sons.
Dr. Jaeger enjoys running, swimming and basketball and
coaches his son’s basketball and baseball teams.
