CLINICAL STAFF:
Physician Assistants: Coordinated Health offers a competitive salary and benefits for certified, licensed Physician Assistants. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Orthopedic specific training and experience is beneficial but not required.
We have an immediate opening for a certified, licensed Physician Assistant with Orthopedic surgical experience. Work with an impressive group of physicians, who provide excellent service and care to our patients on their way back to life. This position includes surgical responsibilities.

We have an immediate opening for a certified, licensed Physician Assistant at our Bethlehem Neighborhood Health Center. This employee will work with a team of occupational health professionals to provide care to patients suffering from workplace injuries. Become an important piece of the WorkCares division of Coordinated Health, which seeks to get our patients back to work. This position does not include surgical responsibilities.

Definition of Position: Physician Assistants assist the orthopedic surgeons in providing quality patient care in a variety of clinical capacities, including but not limited to the operation room.

Qualifications: Pennsylvania State License, Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Competency with medical and computer equipment, Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Positive attitude,

Duties: Assists surgeons in the operating room, Assists surgeons in the care and treatment of patients, Completes hospital rounds and maintains census, Evaluates and manages the care of patients, Provides care to walk-in injuries and examinations, Dictates charts, office notes, and summaries, Completes necessary documentation and discharge paperwork, Performs on-site services to corporate clients, Responds to messages with return phone calls, Restocks examination rooms and the supply area, Maintains confidentiality of all patient records, Accepts additional assignments as requested

Definition of Position: Physical Therapists provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. They restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.

Qualifications: Pennsylvania State License, Undergraduate or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university, Competency with medical and computer equipment, Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a Positive attitude

Duties: Examines patients’ medical histories and tests and measure patients’ strength, range or motion, balance and coordination, posture, muscle performance, and other motor function, Determines patients’ ability to be independent, Reintegrates patients into the community or workplace after injury or illness, Develops treatment plans describing a treatment strategy, its purpose, and its anticipated outcome, Accepts additional assignments as requested.

CLERICAL SUPPORT TEAM:

Front Desk Specialists: Coordinated Health offers a competitive salary and benefits for customer service driven individuals interested in a career in the medical clerical support field. Work with an impressive group of employees who provide excellent service and care to our patients. Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem solving, and verbal communication skills are required. Qualified candidates will have the ability to type accurately and be willing and capable of learning how to use our medical management software. Previous medical office experience is beneficial. Immediate openings exist for fulltime and flextime (11-7) positions in our Neighborhood Health Centers.

Definition of Position: Front Desk Specialists help the flow of patients through the services received. This employee will check patients in for visits, set up new appointments, verify insurance benefits and otherwise maintain a high level of customer service for our busy neighborhood health centers.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, Strong interpersonal skills, Strong communication skills, Strong problem solving skills, Strong customer service skills, Positive attitude, Willingness to learn, Ability to type/ keyboard accurately, Ability to multi-task and pay attention to small details, Ability to learn medical management software, Medical Administrative Assistant or Medical Receptionist certification or previous experience required

Duties: Answers phones and communicates clearly, Schedules appointments, Accesses, pulls and files patients’ charts, Prints clinician schedules, Registers patients when they arrive, Discusses insurance coverage and payments with patients, Verifies insurance and obtains referrals for patient appointments, Maintains patient confidentiality at all times, Accepts additional assignments as requested

Insurance Verification Specialist:Coordinated Health has immediate openings in many of our neighborhood health centers for Insurance Verification Specialists. These individuals will verify primary and secondary insurance benefits for new patients visiting Coordinated Health.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, strong problem solving skills, strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the willingness to learn. The ability to type/ keyboard accurately, multi-task, pay attention to small details, and learn our medical management software are also required. Knowledge of regional insurance carriers is beneficial.

CLINICAL SUPPORT TEAM:

Certified Athletic Trainer: Coordinated Health offers a competitive salary and benefits for certified, licensed athletic trainers. An immediate opening exists for an ATC in the Pocono Mountain School District. Definition of Position: Certified Athletic Trainers provide athletic training services in a high school setting during the school year. During the summer, this employee will develop and direct the strength and conditioning program at the school. Secondary responsibilities are to provide fitness clients with strength and conditioning programs and assist orthopedic patients with therapeutic exercise protocols.

Qualifications: BS degree from an accredited college or university, NATA certification, 1-2 years relevant experience, NASM or NSCA certification preferred

Definition of Position: Physical therapist assistants perform components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by a supervising physical therapist. These employees assist physical therapists in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Physical therapist assistants perform a variety of tasks with patients including exercises, massages, and application of hot and cold packs. Physical therapist assistants record the patient’s responses to treatment and report the outcome of each treatment to the physical therapist.

Qualifications: Associate’s Degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program, Pennsylvania State License, Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Positive attitude, Ability to work in a team oriented facility, Competency in therapy equipment, Willingness to learn treatment protocols from supervising PTs

Duties: Hands on participation in the progression of patient care, Educate patients regarding their injury and treatment
Diagnostic Technologist: Coordinated Health offers a competitive salary and benefits for ARRT certified diagnostic technologists. We have an immediate opening for an experienced technologist who will float between our facilities in the Lehigh Valley and East Stroudsburg. Definition of Position: Under the direction of a physician, Radiologic Technologists take x-rays and administer nonradioactive materials into patients’ bloodstreams for diagnostic purposes.

Qualifications: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Competency with medical and computer equipment, Strong interpersonal skills, Positive attitude, Willingness to cross train into MRI after one year

Duties: Produce x-ray films of parts of the body for use in diagnosing medical problems, Prepare patients for radiologic examinations, Explain the radiologic procedure, Position patients to radiograph body parts appropriately, Position radiographic equipment at the correct angle and height, Set controls on the x-ray machine to produce radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast, Place the x-ray film under the part of the patient’s body to be examined, Remove and develop film.

Physician Extender:
We have immediate openings for Physician Extenders in many of our neighborhood health centers.

Definition of Position: Physician Extenders are certified athletic trainers who assist our physicians in exam rooms and complete other clinical activities in our five neighborhood health centers. These well trained individuals fill an important role in our organization.

Qualifications: BS degree from an accredited college or university, NATA certification, 1-2 years relevant experience, NASM or NSCA certification preferred

Administrative Support Team:

Transcriptionist: Coordinated Health has an immediate opening for a transcriptionist in our Bethlehem location. These individuals will listen to dictation from our clinicians and create a written account.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and either previous transcription experience or a certificate in Medical Transcription is required. Knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Word is required.
