Nothing brings your daily routine to a grinding halt quite like back and neck pain.

At the Back & Neck Center, we see thousands of patients who need help getting back to life.

But what many don’t realize is that a healthy spine is crucial not only for a pain-free back, but also for the proper function of most nerves and organs as well. The good news is that most people whose primary symptom is back or neck pain improve in several days with minimal treatment. That’s why noninvasive treatment is usually the first step in healing.

There are many non-surgical options for treating back pain. In fact, only about five to ten percent of all spine problems are managed with surgery.

Comprehensive rehabilitation and interventional spine modalities play big roles. For example, you may find that rest and special back exercises help relieve your pain, or you may need a combination of medication and physical therapy.

Chiropractic
Chiropractic has been providing relief to millions of Americans for more than 100 years. Spinal manipulation, a basic Chiropractic treatment, has been proven effective in numerous research studies. In fact, a recent governmental study on acute lower back pain cited spinal manipulation and exercise as two of only three proven effective treatments. Chiropractic treatments are safe and designed to eliminate the cause of your pain and disability, not just mask the pain symptoms. They are a crucial component of most Back Treatment Programs.

Interventional Spine Treatment
Our Interventional Spine Treatment program is a multidisciplinary regimen which utilizes the most recent and advanced techniques to treat acute, sub-acute, and chronic pain. We recognize that each person is a unique individual. Pain can involve more than simply a physical component, and correct diagnosis is often the key to successful recovery. Our staff is trained in the complexity of pain and will guide each patient through the treatment that is most appropriate for them.

Physical Therapy
At the Back and Neck Center at Coordinated Health, the goal of our Physical Therapy Department is to develop a working client/clinician partnership that will enable our clients to successfully manage and prevent recurrence of their condition. The desired end result will be an increase in function and restoration of quality of life. These results will be achieved through a combination of approaches to include patient education/activity modification, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic exercises.
