outpatient (or ambulatory) as well as inpatient surgery
services to the community. Consequently, our hand-picked
and highly trained professional staff offers very high
quality care in a friendly, stress-free, and homelike
setting. Because the Surgery Center is operated by Coordinated
Health, scheduling is easy and convenient.
The
center includes six operating rooms, two treatment rooms,
examination rooms, pre-operative and post-operative
recovery areas and a large reception area. It is jointly
owned by Coordinated Health and St. Lukes Hospital and
Health Network, is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission for
Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
Attached
to our surgical center is a brand new 20-bed inpatient
hospital. All of our rooms are spacious, private, and
tastefully decorated. We provide 24-hour nursing and
medical care. Our nurse-to-patient ratio exceeds industry
standards.
Pre-admission
testing and classes are provided at the hospital before
your scheduled surgery. You will meet with various healthcare
workers who will provide tours, educate you on what
to expect, and develop mutually agreed upon goals for
your surgery and recovery period. |
