Ralph D. Richards Jr., PT, MSPT graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science in General Science Pre-Allied Health in 1991, completed 66 Doctoral credits at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1991-1992 and graduated from College Misericordia in 1996 with Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Ralph gained additional experience from working with Fordham University’s Sports Medicine Department from 1987 thru 1991. He has spent 19 years volunteering his time treating the injured football players at Marian High School. He is a manual therapist who is able to work with all ages of patients with a preference for Orthopedic related injuries. Ralph has extensive knowledge of sport specific training to improve athletic performance through exercise prescription for gaining power, strength, speed and explosiveness. In addition, he has also treated many Vestibular patients successfully throughout his PT career of 15 years. In 2009 Ralph was awarded the Community Hero Award for volunteerism with the area youth in Carbon County. When he walked into Sports Medicine Lehigh Valley in 1992 and met Gary Schoenberger, Ralph knew that Physical Therapy and treating people came natural to him.
