Lori Cushner, PT, DPT graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science degree from Northeastern University in 2009. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010. Throughout her years at Northeastern, she gained valuable clinical experience working at Perkins School for the Blind, Bay State Physical Therapy, Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, Coordinated Heath, and North Shore Infant and Toddler Program. Lori has clinical experience in the fields of pediatrics and orthopedics and plan to obtain her Pediatric Clinical Specialist certification in the future. She has a strong interest in nutrition through a plant-based diet and its positive impact on health and quality of life. Lori first became interested in the healthcare field when she was very young and was curious how the body worked and why people got sick or felt pain. She found physical therapy to be a rewarding field as she has the opportunity to teach people why they have pain, what they can do to feel better, and how they can prevent pain in the future.
