David Bower, COTA/L holds an Associate in Applied Science from Penn State University. He has special interests in upper extremity diagnoses specifically the elbow. Dave planned to go to school for sports medicine after high school. Because there were few local schools offering degrees in sports medicine, he decided to pursue Occupational Therapy. Having taken courses at vo-tech in high school on physical therapy, he felt well-prepared to start OT school. Upon learning the principles and ideas behind OT, Dave fell in love with the profession. Practicing for six years, he believes he made the right choice in pursuing Occupational Therapy.
