Dr. Thomas Sauer grew up in Bethlehem and graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1972. He is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. After graduation, he honed his skills as the staff orthopedist in charge of foot service for the Bethesda Naval Hospital from 1976 to 1978 before beginning his own private practice in Bethlehem. He currently specializes in general orthopedics at our Bethlehem at OABE Campus. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Sauer enjoys sports, car racing and collecting model cars. He was inspired to become a physician by his own family physician when he was growing up. Dr. Sauer also wanted to do something that would allow him to give back to his community and the people he has known all his life.
